This is an application for RESEARCH CREDIT in the Animal Science Department.
The student must complete a formal presentation of the completed research project at an undergraduate forum, faculty forum, a scientific meeting, or in a published journal.
Working with your supervising faculty, please prepare a PDF or Word document with the following information. This document will be uploaded at the end of the application.
1. Description of project (subject matter, purpose, methods)
2. Preparation (relevant course work, reading, work experience, etc.)
3. Work to be completed (type and amount of reading, writing, lab work, etc.)
4. Estimated hours per week with instructor
5. Deadline for submitting work
6. Evaluation procedure (e.g. general performance in lab setting, completion of lab reports, presentations, quality of data collection)
7. How and where the research will be presented (e.g. poster presentation at the Undergraduate Research Forum)
8. Faculty signature/approval
