Detransition, Baby: Minority Stress and the Choice to Transition, Detransition, and Retransition
This sheet is provided to inform you about this research project and your participation in it. Please read this form carefully.
Your participation in this study is voluntary. You are free to withdraw from the study at any time, including, but not limited to, by exiting this survey, not entering the interview phase, or letting the researchers know you no longer wish to participate.
Purpose of this study:
This study serves to broaden the current understanding of detransitioners’ experiences with minority stressors before, during, and after detransitioning. This study will ask questions related to experiences transitioning, experiences detransitioning, motivations for detransitioning, and, if applicable, experiences with retransitioning.
Procedures to be followed and approximate duration of this study:
To participate in this survey, you must read the documentation provided and click the button below to confirm your consent.
To participate in this study, you must 1. be 18 years of age or older and 2. identify yourself as either having detransitioned or as a detransitioner.
This screening survey is 16 questions long and should take approximately 15-20 minutes. It asks questions to collect demographic information and determine eligibility.
Withdrawing from study participation:
Participation in this survey is voluntary. This means you may exit the survey at any time, and may skip any questions that you do not wish to answer.
